The Organization Today,requires from any director/manager (at various levels) the responsibility to organize the work process and decision making to optimally way reduce costs and maximize the profits. Therefore, we are in “permanent war”- the organization is monitoring and inspecting our management ability’s every moment
To survive in the organization there are several important characteristics:
- original thinking,
- Far vision (step forward) of organizational processes — political, financial and operation ones.
- High office politics ability-to perform maneuvers using your workers and other manager i other departments.
The Manager (in our office survivor meaning) that develop the features above will be able to stand and success in fulfillment the organization needs.
We live in constant pressing environment. the working place demands “immediate” and does not compromise on medium, so we need to exploit our own intellectual resource to survive in this “hostile” environment and bring the capabilities of thinking ahead which our bosses requires from us , to art.
AS we wrote above, we can think of the organization sometimes as a war zone,where there are artillery forces fighting with commando units. the office survivor must use his wits to survive in this hostile environment and use his office politics resources to gain power and reach success.
