Turning company’s meetings to your advantage

Company’s meetings are for one and one reason only, as there is an office with bunch of people and now something need to be done with them, this is done for one reason only which is to show a sense of purpose. It’s not a secret that these meetings are waste of time for all of us, but not for the office survivor as he sees those opportunities to his very own advantage! The office survivor knows there are 2 simple rules that he has to follow: 1. Everyone has a role in those meeting,which is mostly a static one: there’s the one who doesn’t say a word , the one who agree with everything , the one who disagree with everything , the one who finish sentences (by now i guess you get the point) , etc.… 2. the office survivor has no specific static role as he observes the people and notices which role at the specific meeting has a big influence on the big boss, from that point the office survivor (for this specific meeting only) will take that role. By changing the roles the office survivor is able to shape and change the meetings as he wish , but in the more far perspective point of view the big guys will notice him as a dynamic player in the game , and this in the end will transfer to a better position (which brings more money , more respect, etc..)
