I need the Compansation– Tactic 1

Well, as described in the intro, you reached the decision you need to quit the job.But you don’t want to resign– you want the management fire you.remember you are the office survivor-master in office politics.
this is what you want to happen: You want all employee to know that they fired you for no good reason.this will make the management look bad and also make you look abused.Other employees will feel sorry for you, not knowing that you started this action. So, How to do it you ask?
One that actually worked was to come in the morning, your hands are wrapped up in bandages, starting telling everybody that the doctor you went told you not to use the keyboard for the next month and you can hold the mouse.you just cant!.
Several Will raise an eye but they will not confront you in public. Now, you go to your boss, telling him that.BOOM, the ball in his hand. You bet he never though you can go this far.but, he don’t know the real office survivor don’t he.
Now all he can do is either let you go home for a month giving you this month salary which you wont work(and who says that after a month you will heal?)or to let you go with all your pension funds/compensation funds that you need and don’t forget –its yours!.
Well, this was a good tactic. you do need guts to do it — REMEMBER– to be an office survivor you need GUTS and a lot of them– including the ability to lie without a blink. Why this tactic works:because you don’t do anything that goes against you contract.
you are just playing sick.If someone will tell you don’t play sick, know that he never got the compensation funds when he resigned from his job.playing nice is not for the office survivor-master in office politics. all left to say– enjoy your new job and the money. Now, if you dont want to operate this way, check out the next tactic.

Sophisticated… but the only problem is what about the people who are really injured and they are not using this “play” as an excuse!!!

Hi Jim,
When you decide to use tactic as described in the article you are willing to do anything — even to sacrifice your own job just to get the compensation money; the article as i see it is all about unsatisfied employee whose boss has full acknowledge of the situation with him (unsatisfied, not giving 100% of himself, etc…) so when you put all this together with the “injury” — boom , you have yourself the compensation.
in case an employee is really injured i think he should act differently:
1. he shouldn’t go and cry out loud to everyone over and over again about the injury and his limitation due to it.
2. when informing your boss regrading the new situation do it without any dramatic act.
3. try to show your willingness to work , by taking really minor tasks.
4. most importantly — most chances if you can’t work due to injury you having a note from the doctor that allows you to stay home for a month.
take in mind that if you are under specific contract or a union member than it’s better for you to check your contract as it state under which situation you can be fired; also it’s depends on the country you are living at as there are countries law (in some places) that you can’t be fired on your sick day.
